Haha! Though I reckon souness could still do a decent job! You know what I mean, though!

{Ed001's Note - sorry I couldn't resist! It would have to be Souness, as we miss his grit and quality in the centre of midfielder. Our major weakness is left back, so it would have to be Barney Rubble or Stan Staunton. I just don't know which. I remember Staunton better, but Kennedy just has a special place in my heart for his Euro final goal.}

I'm facing a warning from the FA for tapping up Hansen, Nicol and Houghton for moves next summer. Shame on me.

Could have listed a bunch more, such a rich history of top players and talent so went for my favourites.

Was Bearsdley better than Heighway? I remember seeing a lot of Heighway, but I don't remember seeing that much of Beardsley. Which one was better? Eds and Reds?
