I believe the better question would be who is going to be our inside left.

If the answer is "we don't play with an inside left" then I think you've also got the answer to your question, Harrock.

Sorry for the ignorance, what is an inside left? Is there also an outside left?

4-3-3 with Can Hendo and Wjinaldum with Can being the main defensive shield? Can we play couthino as a withdrawn central midfielder?

If Can doesn't shine this season in that position we may well have to go next year to buy a proper DM.

Is suspect it'll be Can or Stewart DM In a 4-3-3 with possibility Hendo playing there from time to time

In a 4-2-3-1 it'll probably be Can and Hendo together with possibly Wijnaldum or Stewart from time to time

I suspect Grujic might get a shot in cup games or when lacking cover but more likely he gets used a bit further forward.

Fanobip, an inside left was a left sided central attacking midfielder. It's not a position we name anymore, more that's roughly what it equates to. An outside left was like a left winger.

fanobip, I think inside left is an inside forward on the left side. So likely a right footed player that cuts inside. Inverted winger is another name.

Inside left, outside left. Who cares? The only position on the left I care about is left back and who's going to play there! All this talk about inside left just confuses a simple game. And anyway, people can say who's going to play where but the truth of the matter is, you don't know.

Expecting us to set up 4231 with Hendo plus can/ wijnaldum in the deeper midfield roles. Stewart will also step in at times.
