I think mane would be a terrible signing.
He will likely cost 35 million give or take a few million. for that type of money or any type of money I'd want a play player at our club with the right attitude. We all know mane has a stinker of an attitude. What makes him different to benteke? Klopp had 8 months to work with benteke and we seen no great change in bentekes attitude. That isn't an insult to klopp but a reality check.
Mane can be an excellent player but I don't see it and I don't see him ever showing value for that type of money.
We were warned about benteke and forked out way too much And again we are making the same mistake.

Who ca we buy that is as good as mane? He may have some issues, but if it works he'll be great.

I didn't know Mane had a terrible attitude. I know Koeman had an issue with him for a week in Jan, turning up late and some other issue in the space of a week. Aside from that i can find no other on line info relating to this stinking attitude. I like him as a player.

Mane is exactly the player we need talent wise. However, his attitude stinks to high heavens and Koeman has dropped or fined himself repeatedly for things like missing meetings, being late for training and for games, not just once in Jan. Also, he's been sent of their or four times since he arrived in the PL. His ability is and will never be the prob. His attitude is.

I've got to say, he did well to make 37 league appearances in 38 games last season considering he apparently has terrible discipline on the field and apparently gets dropped all the time!

Are we perhaps exaggerating how bad his "attitude" is, simply due to the fact we are concerned for our club?

After Balotelli and Benteke being signed in consecutive summers I think we're all just a little cautious over another big money signing with a rumoured attitude issue.

It doesn't actually seem like he is in the same category as they are attitude wise, because one thing you can't accuse Mane of is not giving 100% when he steps onto that pitch! He is a real workhorse and has the desire to win every game he plays.

MK - i really don't think that the majority of fans had a clue about any supposed attitude problems until ed001 mentioned it.
