Just a general shout out to all here rubbishing linked players - grown the hell up. Mahrez cost £400k and was unplayable last season; Vardy was non league a wet week ago. I don't want to see us splurge on players for the sake of it; we've done that for 20 years and got nowhere. I believe Klopp is a large improvement in our standard of managers of recent years; we have good owners; can we not just let them do their jobs and judge them at the end of next season?

I don't care who else buys who over the Summer; it's irrelevant to us; City spent hundreds of millions and Leicester still stuffed them. We cannot compete at the very highest level financially at the moment so we have to buy smarter so please stop with the "he's not good enough for us" bull and just support who ever is signed.

I do agree we are not in the same universe as city Chelsea or utd in transfer budget. so we have to box clever. With a small portion of hope in each transfer. aka not the finished article. But if any manager in the world has form on this it's klopp. I for one love the man. I think he just makes me want to run through a brick wall for him from his public interviews. so I can only imagine the motivation from inside the camp. We are in for a roller-coaster next season and I cannot wait. ynwa.

That's not the point mate, we're spending huge amounts on average players. £400k is fine, but we're quoted £30m.

Yes they cost small money but they started the season as relegation/ mid table team 1 or 2 good games would have been a good season no pressure if they failed to win the league they get a good job lads you tried not like a big club where there is massive pressure week in week out and players fail.

It's the constant bleating about every player Ron; if we were getting Messi for 20m you'd have some morons in here claiming he's finished and we're buying a pup; or he's not what we need or Johnny Foreigner from FIFA is far better. I'm just sick of reading it day in day out. I went through the other "Rumours" sites as I thought Ed002 at times was overly harsh on LFC fans but you know what he/ she/ it isn't half hard enough; you just don't have some of the vitriol about clubs own players on other sites that we have here. This is the best LFC site hands down but the volumes of "fans" abusing players/ owners/ our Manager here is way above what another site has. I for one am very happy with our business to date; a big strong young keeper; a young dominant talented centre mid; a physically imposing centre back and we're looking at at least 1 new left back.

Mate its what the site is for, to talk about linked players, the club etc. If ya don't like what some posters have to say just skip right on past.

Ron is also right, i would question all day long the purchase of certain players with big price tags that are just not value. Considering the purchases we have made to date i too am happy and would like to see more similar low priced deals for high potential players ala coric or dahoud but we just have to wait and see what transpires.
