Absolute nonsense. Oblak is crap? Pull the other one.

I must have watched a different game. The Oblak in my game was the main reason his side even got to penalties!

I have to agree Ed091, I don't think he dived once, and was constantly beaten to his bottom left. Absolute shame, Real in no way deserved that, got at Atleti early on but offered nothing else afterwards.

{Ed091's Note - agreed.

Oblast played well all game, however when it got to penalties he didn't seem to dive for any it was strange. When he did it for the first two I thought he was anticipating the pens going straight down the middle. He then did it a third time and couldn't understand why he wasn't diving. His fourth pen wasn't that convincing either. Very odd display In the shoot out.

Still wouldn't say he was a bad keeper.

{Ed091's Note - I agree, whilst he had a poor penalty shoot out, it doesn't make him a poor gk

He was excellent all game, but he had a poor shoot out. He's still young and I'm sure will learn from this.

In the penalty shootout he was awful. He hardly moved.

The OP is deluding himself by judging a very good GK like Oblak after one penalty shoot out, an exercise in lottery than anything else. If the OP had watched ever watched Oblak play over a season would know that he is a heck of a GK.

the biggest disgrace was the antics of pepe, it was embarrassing to say the least, why the hell did clattenburg not send him off, as he caught him at it at least twice, shame that athletico Madrid played so poorly in the 1st half and they missed a penalty in normal time, also simeone has now lost 2 champions league finals, does that make him a bad manager or a very good one who's not got the breaks when required? he is a very good manager in my opinion, also unlike most football "experts" I find the whole fawning over real Madrid ott, and sickening considering how much they spend on players every year they should be winning trophys, gutted there was no fairy tale for torres.

Seemed like he was over thinking the pens trying to read each one. Would have looked good if he read it right.

{Ed001's Note - he didn't play well last night, made a good save or two but dithered constantly.}

{Ed091's Note - correct D

between 100% shoutout record and the "enjoying making love at midnight in the dunes behind the Cape" I was going to throw a Hail Mary and suggest that the Legend that is Spaghetti Legs was talking to us. But then I found he was in goal when we lost shoot out to Wimblefon in 1993. So I am stumped!

Oblak had a dreadful penalty shoot-out, his dithering really made Real's penalties easier than they should of been. In contrast Navas was going all out for all his penalties and really giving Atletico pressure. Was a weird shoot-out: never seen a GK be so poor in one - they're usually heroes or, at worst, blameless. He was at fault in my view.
