Hey gang,

So the big game is tonight.

Would you rather we played

1. Lovren and Lucas
2. Lovren and Toure
3. Lovren and Skrtel
Or
4. Skrtel and Toure (haa)

I'd prefer Lovren and Lucas because Lucas reads the game better.

Isn't it funny how 6 months ago Lovren was a shambles but now is a certain starter?

It's the Klopp effect, I tell you . haha.

Maybe Lovren and Toure. Lucas is a possibility but Klopp may use him in the mid. Maybe he'll play Lucas CB and go with Milner and Allen in the mid?

It is the Klopp effect. He used to be a centre back and he also helped Hummels convert from a DM to a centre back. It's really quite simple what Klopp has done to Lovren. He's basically told him to ignore everything he got told under the previous regime and focus on being a defender. By that I mean forget about trying to be Messi everytime you get the ball, just keep it simple. Also forget about splitting the centre backs.
On the question I suspect he'll go for Skrtel and Lovren due to their experience.
I think it's going to be a tight 1-2 victory tonight but of course I've got my usual 3-4 bet on. £5 @225/ 1 😎.

I'd like us to use Lovren and Toure and work how Spurs have been doing with Lucas dropping back to a 3rd CB as our FB's bomb up.

I think Lovren needs to start as RCB. I think a lot of his problems at the beggining of the year came from him playing with Skertel, who was always the RCB which moved Lovren to LCB. He always looked so uncomfortable clearing the balls on his left foot, espcially if it was bouncing.

I think we'll play Lucas in a midfield three, I think it would be reckless to play two away from home when we're missing Can and Hendo. Toure and Lovren should play tonight but I can see Skrtel playing on Sunday, I don't know if Toure has two games a week in him.

Andrew he had his best season of his career at left centre back alongside Fonte at Southampton.

He is two footed. He looked poor there because he was sandwiched between Moreno and Skrtel with Mignolet behind him. They could make Jerome Boateng look bad.

Think it's testament to lovrens turnaround that every viable option includes him in it. So pleased he's producing the form we bought him for.

Skrtel is a walking disaster and should be nowhere near the bench. Toure and Lovren all day, everyday.
