Eds and reds asked this the other day but didn't see any posts so I'm trying again. Would anybody be willing to give Balo another chance under Klopp. i'd be willing to give him another window. I think Klopp could ignite a fire in him and make him truly world class and the best part would be he doesn't cost anything. Those funds could be used elsewhere.
Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - Won't be an option 420FL - the club want him gone and he doesn't want to return.}

I'm kinda speechless. The only way I can take this post is as a joke. There is no way anyone wants that useless clown back! I'd only consider a donkey over Mario.

A mythical pyromancer wouldn't ignite a fire in Balotelli, 420. He might, might do just enough between now and the end of the season to pique Milan's interests again. But even if they do sign him permanently (and don't expect a transfer fee, btw), it'll last two years before his permanent disinterest in most aspects of being a footballer will result in him being packed off to the Middle East, or if he's lucky, China.

And do you know what? He probably won't last there either. Retirement at about 30 is on the horizon for Mario.

I would rather the club pay 35 million pounds again for Andy Carroll than even entertain the idea of bringing Balotelli back. The guy is an utter waste of space and has been one of the high profile flops at our club. Let him go for free if no one's willing to pay up on top of his ridiculous salary. We do not need his careless attitude and stupidity anywhere near the club.

Wasn't meant to be a joke. Maybe my naivety. I believe in second chances and feel the club has the right man for it. I appreciate the feedback from all. Mythical pyromancer cracked my shit up.

I was quite disappointed in the Balo outcome, that first game playing alongside Sturridge he really played well and I thought if only he'd been played with a strike partner (even Borini would have been better than no-one) we would have probably scored a lot more goals than we did last season. He was never mobile enough on his own to play lone striker in a system like ours (ie. no wingers)

Having said that, it's all water under the bridge and there's no point in trying to fix past mistakes. Klopp is on a good run with the right attitude and team players and good forwards in Sturridge, Origi, Ings and Firmino available. Zero sense in potentially disrupting the rhythm with a player like Balo.

I wouldn't mind. By all accountsshi off-field behaviour as no been an issues for months now. I watched his last 2 games and I thought there is some promse there. Bu te environment is important and I don't this he will thrive back here. So I hope he stays away.
