hi ed01 great result tonight your pre match ritual worked again then. sturidge still a concern though just seems a shadow of him self wat do u think? also sakho immense tonight man of match for me! last one edds wat do make of origi I've been really impressed of late think he could be a top striker cheers.

{Ed001's Note - Sturridge is just lacking confidence, that is why he is taking too long. Once he gets that back he will be fine. For now though, Origi would be first choice. The worry is that Studger is still a lot better as an option than Benteke. Twice tonight Origi hit shots that bounced off De Gea, twice Benteke was stood on the edge of the box watching, making no effort to get in place to get on the end of a parried shot.

By the way, it was not just me doing the pre-match ritual, I made the sister and brother in law do exactly the same things as we did last Thursday before the game. Even made them walk the exact same route. They think I am mad! Mind the brother in law is a lucky charm, we have never lost when he has been here.}

its a shame with benteke because he does some great stuff then just doesn't follow it up twice he set up origi with some nice skill and then like u say doesn't follow it up I'm just screaming at the telle willing him to do it ha shame! with studge just hope its confidence because at mo doesn't seem to even have the pace or wat to do with ball but with the time he's had off could take ten fifteen games to get it back. well ed u need to be doing this ritual for rest of season ha because I rekon we could sneak 4 here city arsenal all looking vulnerable at mo cheers.

Told you earlier. It's my lucky knickers what did it.

Very impressed with origi, runs hard, Battles well, is strong and direct! Took on two shots after creating a yard, which is what a striker should do, like you said, wasn't the best strike but if de gea fumbles it, others would struggle too.
Sturridge just needs a goal, he's still far more influential mind. Think klopp should just tell him to stay on the last mans shoulder until he's back and firing, I think he's over thinking or trying too hard to be involved, when in reality, if you have coutinho lallana and firmino in the space, they can create.

Time to ensure your Sis and B-i-L stay with you permanently, Ed001 ;-)

Surely the satisfaction of seeing us winning every week will be compensation enough for the extra rent?

{Ed001's Note - I have already suggested just that mate.}

We're back to usual ed 1, I've got to disagree with you. Origi's had a decent amount of game time recently but he's struggling to make an impact. He sees a lot of possession because he can chase the ball into space but he rarely does anything with it. Meanwhile Benteke, when he gets the ball, routinely retains possession and sets up chances for other players. I'd love to see Benteke and sturridge get a game together because I think sturridge would thrive off it.

{Ed001's Note - you must have missed Origi making himself 2 shooting chances then?}

Ed001, you've got to find a way to keep the brother in-law there until we lift the trophy!

Origi's ability to do all of
1) dropping deep or
2) making runs in behind
3) adding physical/ aerial presence
4) bringing the attacking mids into play around him
is unparalleled amongst our forwards at the moment.

Only thing holding him back is his inexperience/ youth and finishing. If he gets clinical and starts knocking in goals, Sturridge's spot could be under real threat.

Ed send some flower and kisses from us to your brother in law.

{Ed001's Note - I am sure he would love that mate.....}
