Why do I get the impression that the anti ticket protest brigade hardly ever go the game?

Not a criticism, but a hunch that they don't have to spend their hard earned last pennies week in week out to watch modern day football.

Imagine what it's like when your child is begging to go the game and you can't afford it because you're getting ripped off?

Some don't live in the world of some and will never understand.

Don't know what brigade you're referring to Davie but there were a lot of people walking out of the Sunderland match. A steward said he thought about 10k.

Isn't that a compliment then dave?

People might of been there for that one game a season they can actually get to and were preperaed to walk out of it for the other 'lucky' gets who get to go to every game?

Dave brought my dad over to Palace match for his 70th Birthday, we live in N. Ireland and watch every Lfc match together on Tele and make trip to Anfield once a year.

Cost £800 all in, so yeah we "hardly ever go to game", but when we do its the cost of a season ticket.

There are plenty of good LFC fans who aren`t "local working class heroes", but we are prepared to pay out good money for the Anfield experience, which is being eroded by the so called "True fans" many of whom stomped out of the ground in a huff when Palaces 2nd goal went in. The preferred response from a true fan would be encouragement for a struggling team.

Davey - ignoring where I come from and all for a second, has it occurred to you that those who can't go regularly find it an even more pressing issue because they already can't go as it is, never mind when it becomes more expensive? I genuinely don't have a side in the debate except for believing that buying tickets to games, especially the cup final, and not going is ridiculous. But do remember that the most regular effect is not always the worse effect.

Davey mate, drop it now please. We get it. Not a scouser, not a real fan. Nobody wants to hear it anymore.
