How is Matt Ryan getting on at Valencia does anyone know? We had previous interest, any chance that could be rekindled as we need a new no1 in the summer for sure. Mingolet doesn't cut it for me.

Bench warmer. He's honestly not that good a keeper. He is poor on crosses and has no presence in the box. Only string point in his game is distribution.

I've seen him a number of times and he's a poor keeper. Doesn't command his area as he's only about 5'10/ 11, isn't s good shot stopper and let's in some pretty soft goals, I would hope if we look at keepers we go for someone competent.

He was injured at start of season then came back as number 2. Fought hard to get back to number 1 with Neville, I personally think he is a great keeper, yes small but disagree with other comments about not commanding box, distribution is amazing and can 'stop' shots!

{Ed001's Note - he is flashy but rubbish. He is number one because of the sale value. The Spanish will tell you Domenech is a much better keeper, while Ryan is seen as a weak link.}
