All the joking about ilori being overated. I really hope he plays an absolute blinder on Friday, gets a start in the league then makes himself first choice for the rest of the season. I'll be walking around with a smug face and 1 certain finger in the air 😏
The boy has class potential, he's quicker than nani and ronaldo ( smashed their record on the 60m sprint ) as good as Sami in the air and as delicate as agger on the ground.

BB our fans are not fickle, where do you get that idea? Well we gave no choice but to give him a run out. I'm sure most felt the same when Gomez got a shout up for the team and he did okay for an 18 year old.

Jesus, Usain Bolt is quicker than Messi it doesn't make him good at football, have to agree with Ed001 with Ilori everyone thinks he's the new Nesta but can't get a game for Aston Villa, hmmmm. I remember Ed002 saying he wanted to see him play, probably the reason he's the best CB we've ever had.

We have never had a quick CB, like a really quick one. Not that I can remember anyway, from carra to kyriagkos. So it will allow us to play a higher line, I never said it has anything to do with making him good at football, what planet are you on lad?
He didn't get on for villa because Tim slurwood went with people actually playing for their futures at villa, as well as their new manager.
