Question for Eds.

I am asking for an opinion here, I do not expect you guys to know everything!
If Klopp and Anchelotti do not end up at Anfield, what do you think are their other serious options? i.e clubs that have, or will potentially have availability before, or by the end of this season.
I am currently struggling to think of many options. I think that IF city fail to win the league or progress well in the CL then Pello will leave. I also think that if Arsenal either do incredibly well or badly, Wenger could go.
Klopp has said he would only manage in England or Germany, so I guess for him that leaves Bayern. I don't see Pep leaving until he wins the CL or City make him an offer he can't refuse.
I guess Ancholotti could end up in Italy, but not sure who with specifically.

Thanks

{Ed002's Note - For various reasons both have been in England this week and Ancelotti remains here for a couple more days. As I have explained before, there was an effort earlier this year by a third party to steer Ancelotti toward Manchester but he wanted to take a year off, deal with a medical issue and another matter. He is not looking for work but I expect he will probably be approached by Roma. Liverpool has not made any approach to Klopp (who has now turned down four coaching positions since the season started) at this time. One option that Klopp has will be clarified by the end of November and that will influence what he does next. There is a chance that a managerial option will open up elsewhere in England and, under the correct circumstances, that may be an option for him and Zeljko Buvac. I am not so sure those circumstances will be right for them.}

I am surprised Rudi Garcia is under so much pressure at Roma. He has surely taken them a level up since he has joined, but they have struggled in Europe I suppose.

Is Ancelotti in England doing something with the upcoming charity match with Ferguson taking charge of United? Sure that's happening pretty soon

{Ed002's Note - That match is not until November.}

Thank you for your reply.
I can see what you're saying re Ancelotti - there are tangible reasons for him having to wait until the end of the season to get back into work, along with what sounds like a private matter.

Do you think if the LFC job came available by say mid-Oct, could Klopp seriously pass up the opportunity to manage us on the chance something else could be assured by mid-November? I guess it depends on how much more attractive it is than LFC.

If its Bayern, or Arsenal, I can perhaps see the logic there.

However, I look at the German and English leagues and it seems like LFC are the obvious fit for Klopp, who is not looking to join a top top club, but also would surely not accept a step down from Dortmund.

I am guessing you Pep will decide whether he wants to renew his contract at Bayern by mid-November.

Interesting, well I still think it would be surprising seeing Klopp at Bayern - he thrived with the underdog tag, and always spoke with contempt about Bayern who consistently bought all of his most promising players.

I guess this now hinges a lot on City's form, if Pellegrini ends up under serious pressure from a collapse in CL and PL form, Pep may fancy it. Having said that I reckon City's owners would sack Pellegrini no matter what happens if Pep was available. He is their L-T target.
