I do think everyone is being a bit harsh on Brendan and don't think he is as bad as everyone makes out, however I do also believe if we wanna be pushing for the top places in the league then we need a better manager than him as I don't think he is up to the job but I'm also hoping he proves me wrong although I can't see it!!

Not harsh enough - if the man had any self respect, he would have gone with his back room staff, but his ego still puts him in cloud cuckoo land thinking he is a football manager. In my humble opinion he has proved on numerous occasions, he hasn't got a clue about tactics and how to set up a team - I'm pretty sure no other manager would continue with a central pairing of Skrtel and Lovren, neither of which on current ( and last years ) form would get into any other PL team.

Lovren and skrtel are clearly not the best of centre backs, I'm a swansea boy and been to watch the swans many times and have to say Ashley Williams is far better than the both of them I'm shocked Liverpool haven't come calling for him. Until Liverpool sort out the centre backs we got no chance really as there just not good enough!!

Only BR will persist doing the wrong thing and expect different results especially if that thing he's doing, is failing before our very eyes. This is the exact reason the Reading owner sacked him. He kept telling him that things would get better while they were losing and approaching relegation every passing week. After a while, he got tired and pulled the plug. FSG may not think its that time yet but many fans are now at that point.

The REAL AG,are you for real,if LFC exist to win trophies then KENNY DALGLISH has done his job,he's added to the trophy haul,if he was so out of touch he must of been one hell of a blagger to get them to 2 finals winning,just ask the bright young thing that is RODGERS how easy is it to win trophies,the man's got nothing on his CV that says he should be anywhere near the Liverpool job.

I was not going to get into this debate because i was disgusted by the way dalglish was treated by the fans and for his sake i wish he did not come back to have to deal with the numptys. Harry you really need to give it a rest, dalglish hands down was a better player than gerrard and hands down a better manager than brendan. He has sweated both blood and tears for a club he still loves with a passion despite the shoddy treatment from the fans.

If fsg had afforded him the same amount of time and financial backing as brendan he would have turned it around no doubt. Their incompetence in managing the press and poor backroom staff ala comoli contributed to his downfall and was also contribted to by suarez who some on here still revere as the second coming.

Some forget dalglish HAS actually won the premiership albeit with another team and he has won a cup with this team in his second stint. Again i ask what the hell has brendan won apart from manager of the month/year. There are no comparisons between the two of them what so ever. Its not even a debate ffs.
