Today. I lost a lot of hope for br and I'll tell you why. Ilori, he has gone on loan, I can just about deal with that, just! But it is a deal to buy. wait for it. For less than we bought him! This means if he impresses and villa want him, they get theirselves a bargain and we can't reject it! I'm no business man but on these deals surely you put the fee that you can't reject, at a price where we make a profit, at least! Then if he has a not so great season you can negotiate a lower fee! This is absolutly absurd. Watch him have a great season and villa get themselves a bargain. I have no doubt br will then proceed with a 27m bid for ilori.
I know I moan about br in the podcasts, but now, I'm deadly serious. I want this bloke away from my club as far as possible!

Benny i totally agree, and a couple of days after our 20 million pound so called leader (as Brenda called him)had a performance a championship player would be ashamed of.

It's heartbreaking to see happen and what's worse is fsg stand by and let it all happen. The club is being run so badly from top to bottom. I feel we will watch a fair few more players that the fans want to see stay at the club go before br goes.

Craziness in extreme! It's a win win for Villa because if he plays really well there's nothing we can do about it.
Llori is yet another name to a growing list of players brought by BR who have not been given the chance, or when played they have played out of position and struggled.
Markovic has gone this window and although he struggled last year. how many times did he play in his preferred position?
The amount of money wasted on substandard players or on players brought in when we had young players who could have been given a go is horrendous. This myth that BR gives youth a chance is tosh.
With the money we have given him his team should look damn sight better than we have seen over past 18 months, a top manager would certainly be doing better.
Once again, what are they smoking down at the emirates- moaning because Wenger didn't spend big.c'mon the guy has never failed to get CL!! I would rather have a penny pinching manager who can produce results than an inept guy who spends money we haven't got like it's going out of fashion!!

Benny are you really surprised. He should be playing alongside sakho not playing for one of our relegation rivals. Brendan lost me long before the end of last season and i am tired of this club making amateurish decisions from the footballing staff as well as the people supposedly running the club. Mike Gordon needs to give his head a wobble for listening to brendan.

Sigh, i can't believe we have actually sanctioned ilori to villa as a lian to buy. Sigh.

Isn't the fee £6m to £9m based on appearances plus the loan fee of £1m and 25% sell on fees . I think that's more than what we paid . Nevertheless the boy didn't get a chance and couldn't stay fit,but I'm sure if he was as go as Gomez he would have played more

I keep trying to figure out the logic of the LFC management but there isn't any,Markovic (highly rated by most) Ilori (highly rated by most) loaned out.Ibe/Lovern struggling for form ,I know attacking midfielders we have a plenty,but Toure,Gomez and out of favour Sarko as back up to sniffles and lovern,I could cry

We need to trust Rodgers and judgement on Ilori, the fee is upto 9 million so we would make then make profit, only can we judge this deal at the end of the season.

Your post makes no sense. BR is clueless and so are the owners and they will rue the day the chose to keep him if he fails again. As for BR getting the best out of youth, only his sad acolytes believe that rubbish because the guy is just hopeless at it.
