Talent without the right attitude amounts to nothing and it's a shame the way this whole Sterling saga is ending.

I really rate the boy but it's clear that he will never become the player most LFC fans feel he can under the current manager or with what appears in his head as some huge problem resulting in him wanting to leave.

He might get the correct environment at City to develop or he might disappear into a huge pile of cash like many players over the years who get too much too young who knows what the future holds.

To get near £50m for him is great business.

Let's hope it's spent wisely and not on more average squad players that the manager has a habit if doing.

If it is Benteke and not Reus or Lacazette as many wish then as long as we don't try and change the way he plays to suit us the way we did with Carroll then he could be a monster signing for us.

Front two with a fit Sturridge with one just behind and we will be greatly improved on last season.

Really looking forward to the new season and with new coaching staff in place now am very hopeful top 4 is on.

Exciting / Stessful summer as ever as an LFC fan but can see us going forward on and off the pitch and as long as Rogers doesn't put square pegs in round holes we can definetly feel confident for this season

I'll be surprised if you get £50m. Plus doubt all of that will be upfront, and QPR will take a 20-25% cut of that also

Yip 20% to QPR.

Can't see him leaving unless £40/45m not up front and City with FFP restrictions lessened and having to get some English players in would surely agree.

Would expect Benteke to arrive before end of July to bed him in .

If that's the last signing for the summer we're in a decent place to contend for top 4
