Prediction for rest of the window, we want and will persist all window in trying to sign Benteke and try have Villa reduce their price.

We will use our allies in the press to fabricate interest in other strikers, although no realistic interest is there, to try and make Villa think we are looking elsewhere.

We WILL end up signing Benteke for £25m & Borini or £27-30m & Lambert.

End of incomings done and dusted and for me as good a window as we've had in years.

Guessing our valuations of our players your scenario suggests we'll fanny about for weeks and then pay more than 32.5m for Benteke. I suppose it's possible.

If could give them Borini, Lambert and £20m I would do the deal all day long.

Big upgrade on last year and takes the pressure off Sturridge to be fit every week.

When fit play both together when one is injured play one up or Ings alongside.

Wages saved on Borini and Lambert will cover most if not all of his wages and both are not going to feature anyway.

Now we just need to move on Balo and the rest !

Benteke will be an LFC player next season regardless of how it gets done. Why? He wants to play here, doesn't wanna play for Villa anymore and we want him here. Done and dusted!
