Great to see so much support for our club on this site. rubbish keeper, rubbish defenders, rubbish midfield, rubbish strikers, rubbish manager and rubbish owners blah blah blah blah. We support our players no matter what right?? We are Liverpool fans, the best fans in the world right?? I am worried about the way the club is going but I won't slate our lads, as long as I see 100% when they get out there, then that is all you can ask. Give them a break, see who we bring in and just support them things can change very quickly in football.

{Ed001's Note - I didn't see 100% from the players against Stoke.....

Plus this is not the match, support at the game, fine, but when you are not at the game blinkered support is pointless. It achieves nothing, but I guess it makes you feel superior.}

Not at all and I guess I am a bit blinkered. Look I personally do not think Rodgers is the right man for the job but I want him to succeed. I just get a bit frustrated because most of the comments recently have been so negative. Can you give me something positive that the club is doing??

{Ed001's Note - if it is correct, then the promotion of Pepjin Linders is very positive.}

AJGREDS

I want nothing more than for Rodgers to succeed, but it just ain't going to happen.

Theres so much negativity because a blind man can see the problems we have yet the club just aren't addressing them.

What is the point in keeping Rodgers? He's not upto the job but he will stay and come Xmas be up for the chop and leave us mid table.

The players coming in again are not the calibre we should be getting.
There not going to improve our squad and the next one Gomez is pointless. We have ilori yet they won't even give him a chance.

At the end of the day the direction we are moving in is not good.

Anybody know the bookies odds that Mr Rodgers will be gone by Christmas ?

You like linders ed?

{Ed001's Note - from what I have been told and read, he seems ideal.}

If my staff put that amount of "effort" in a shift they'd be on the dole queue. 100 per cent. Not even close and the working man pays to see it. Shameful on occasion

Agree that blinkered support achieves nothing on this site but then the same is true for the blanket criticism decribed.
The only way anything would be achieved is if people within the club read the site and if they do I'd rather they had the feeling of everyone is behind them rather than everyone hates them.

{Ed001's Note - and what good would that be when they are making a mess of things? If they get it right, then they will get support and deserve it. They have to earn it though.}

All good points there. It seems that some just want us to allow mediocrity to be shoved down our throats, all in the name of "support the team regardless". NONESENSE! I can support the club and disagree with their policies and the direction they it is going with no prob at all. Or are many on here incapable of multi-tasking? The dumbest thing is that many say they want BR gone yet have no prob with him staying. Wait, what? That makes no sense and seems many wanna have it both ways. I want him gone and DO have a prob with him staying and will not accept mediocrity from a set of owners or fans or manager just because "support the team" bla, bla, bla. Like Ed said, the manager has to earn his trust and support of the fan base and the only thing he has earned is being an embarassment and disgrace in the eys of the public with his failed policies nand brainless comments in the media. Have some people no shame nor a sense of ambition? This club was not built on the mediocrity of our past legends. it was built on self belief that through dreams and hardwork, much can be achieved. Now, mediocrity seems to be the norm. Hey, if some wanna accept the mess we are in as the way it is, good on them BUT stop telling the rest of us to agree with you because we won't UNTIL things change. Rant Over!

Hey eds. all for constructive criticism but the banal criticism is even less useful than the blinkered support. I'm Getting bored of the 'everything is s**t' comments.

{Ed001's Note - well then put a different view down rather than whining even more.}

Thanks lads.

I have only seen 2/1 and 4/1 gone by the beginning of the season and 1/6 he is still there January 2016.

FSG are certainly keeping their cards close to their chests.

The press are talking as if he will be there for the season ?
