What's the score with Brannigan.though ed? He looks fantastic and way more ready than rossiter.

{Ed001's Note - he is an attacking midfielder, we already have plenty of them and the only reason he looks way more ready is because Rossiter has been held back.}

how can anyone use Ibe as a reason to say BR uses youth? Must be a wind up. Incase you didn't know, he bought Lazar Markovic for 25 million € to replace Jordon Ibe and when he alienated young Markovic and wanted to buy more players in january to replace Markovic he was told to bore off and use Ibe. We lost Suso because of BR, we were going to loose Ibe because of BR. Flanagan was used because every other FB was out injured and Raheem Sterling was brought through by Kenny Daglish not BR.

Spot on, Paisley! BR has no confidence or interest in them and uses them when forced to. Worse, he buys youth from other teams to take their place in the first team like he did by loaning Suso out and buying Alberto or loaning out Ibe to buy Marko or loaning Wisdom, selling kelly to loan in manquillo. The dude is a joke, a poor man-manager, all talk yet NOTHING to back it up because his CV is blank on the trophy column and anyone saying he brings through youth need their heads examined

Agree Redohio. He keeps swapping the club's youth with players from other academies or novices like a self proclaimed magician. Unfortunately a real magician pulls out rabbits from hats, Brendan on the other hand just pulls out s**t.

Markovic, lallana were bought to bolster the wings and number ten role.

The idea being ibe, marko, sterling, lallana, sturridge, coutinho, origi, ballo, lambert.

And ed Brannigan is a box to.box midfielder more in the mold of Allen, toago, verAttit, he can attack and defend (defending isn't brilliant, but he can get stuck In) he links.play really well, had a good shot on him and can tackle.

He stills a boy, I.wouldn't even recommend a loan for him yet. To young. Another year in the academ, train with the first team and then get him a loan next yeat. Not alot.of teams are going to give a 17 year old enough game time in the middle of the park lol

hmm. but that is cleary not true now is it??

Jordon ibe was without competition the best player in pre season and if anything that loan didn't do anything for him but make him wait for 6 months for a chance that should have come earlier.

Fabio Borini,Iago Aspas,Luis Alberto,Oussama Assaidi were all there as well so he could have used them or atleast give them a chance and no giving them 20 minutes where they actually perform and then get completly dropped (teixeira) is not giving them a chance.

BR is so full of himself that he uses them very sparingly to prove a pointless point that these players are not good enough and that he want to buy more, but sadly for him the players usually do something and he drops them for proving him wrong.

Fabio Borini stars away at Villa, plays well enough scores a goal and never to start anothet game. Lamert finds some form towards the end of December but gets dropped completley and is used patheticly at overtime or the last 5 minutes to save a game!!! BR is not only useless in organizing a back 4 or defending, he is useless in using the players he himself bought and is ruining them to prove some idiotic point. BR out
