I would still believe that he would take ½-1 year off, and in that time there are probably loads of clubs who are interested in him.

Completely agree with you.

I really do chuckle at the inferences that the media in particular can put on any statement to spin it one way or another! Almost ever paper is assuming Rodgers is safe on the basis that none of the front runners are apparently available - Rafa going to RM (pretty certain), Ancelloti's operation (again pretty certain) and now Klopp saying he's taking a year's sabattical (what a load of spin and bull)!

I too am not counting out Klipperty, at least not until we've got through the next few days.

I dread to think what will happen if Rodgers stays ?

Without doubt he has shown his failings many times over during the season that has just finished.

He will not improve.
He is out of his depth.

I imagine the transfer commitee experiment will be ended exactly 15 seconds after Rodgers leaves.

I think a lot will be clearer over the coming couple of days if this supposed mysterious meeting actually takes place tomorrow

{Ed001's Note - nothing mysterious, they always meet at the end of the season.}

Mikey, it can take several minutes to assemble the correct people, so I will disregard your comment as sensationalist in the extreme.

I'd give it at least half an hour.

Ed1

It also sounds very dramatic for me ed. Top officials flying in odds being slashed. As if thw climax is approaching. But no one really knows exactly what's happening. That's why mysterious

The media are setting him up as if Klopp, Rafa and carlo are the only coaches around. Laziness at it`s finest. He will go because i can`t imagine fsg keeping a guy they don`t even trust with money hence, they put together the commitee. I`ll believe it when I see it

Going to be some amusing back tracking if he does stay.

Can't wait. :-)

you can't wait? you can't possibly be a liverpool fan?
the things we say about BR are not opinions, they are facts and if he stays i will not watch 1 minute until he is sacked , because believe me if FSG make the huge mistake in letting him stay they will soon realize it when we are 15th or worse by October, out of all the cups and not gone through probably the easiest of groups in the EL. Why? because most players don't want him in charge and don't want to play for him and if i had a man of that character as my boss i wouldn't bust half a gut either!!
