Your kidding yourself if you think the players have not let us down only cann Hendo coutinho have had a good season the rest have been average or poor it's too easy to blame everything on a manager. Rodgers has been poor also but he does not miss open goals every other week unlike sterling. a player asking for 150 k a week should be putting those chances away

{Ed001's Note - you seem to forget that the manager is responsible for getting the players to perform. He picks the team, chooses the tactics and is meant to get them up for matches. He is too busy upsetting and getting rid of players for that. If one player is playing badly, then it could be said it was one player, when all the team are appalling, well then it is down to management.}

So it was down to rodgers we finished second last year and suarez and Studge scored all those goals ???

{Ed001's Note - he certainly is taking all the credit for it, so he can take the credit for our utter failure to win a league no one else seemed to want and then dragging us back into midtable mediocrity this season. He can also take the credit for getting rid of Carra, Gerrard and Agger, replacing players with ones he never gives a game to and selling off promising youngsters to replace them with the likes of Balotelli, Lallana, Lambert, Allen etc. If you are one of those people that only wants to talk about one aspect of his career, then you are wasting everyone's time. The big picture is that he has failed and failed miserably, the longer we wait the worse the mess is going to be for someone else to clean up. After all, he is trying his best to alienate Lucas, to the point where he was all set to leave in January, but it is ok because we can all look forward to Allen anchoring the midfield instead.}

Rodgers inept ability to direct his players is the reason so many have performed poorly. There is no cohesive direction, players moved from one position to the next rarely playing their natural role. Confidence must be all over the place. The boo boys don't help either. No wonder mistakes are happening & players are feeling pressured.
