We will never achieve anything with sturridge as our main striker. We either need to sell him (so we have the funds to buy a striker of quality that isn't made of wet paper) or sell another of our best assets (coutinho & sterling are the only ones that could single handedly raise the funds). I like vietto but he looks mighty similar to how aspas looked I must point out he's a good player but would be a risk and should only be a number 2 striker if we got him (unlikely) ings or Austin would be good and obtainable number twos but in a perfect world we sell sturridge and buy dzeko, jovetic, falcao, higuan (I know all of these would probably be impossible even with CL but "shoot for the moon land in the stars" etc) so in my opinion sell: sturridge, balo, lambert, borini, aspas, alberto, skrtel, Lucas. Please don't say "football manager not real life" or "another season of tranition" because only 4 of them are 1st 11/bench players. I would hope for around £50m for the lot & hopefully that'll get us a well respected big tent type striker. Milner on a free (not so free) for the midfield and a keeper meaning a totally self sufficient window and I know your first thought will be wages minus gerrard, Johnson, balo, studge, Lucas and skrtel there's a massive massive chunk down

If you don't want people to point out that real life isn't footy manager, don't post footy manager plans

You should have continued to see the part where I said I know all of these would probably be impossible

Hmm, not sure Jovetic or Falcao are the answers if you're looking for strikers without injury and fitness issues.

Falcao had 1 bad injury and has an idiot manager who refuses to give him a run of games and constantly puts him on with 20 minutes left in matches where UTD play defensively as they've already won. Once he gets match fitness I am of no doubt Falcao will go back to being a top striker.

Milner? FFS good job you aren't in charge.

I fear for him as well as Studge because his injury takes a while to come back from normally. Now laying in a league that IMO, does not suit him, playing in a hoofball team that is coached by a dinosaur, he might have no chance at getting back to his best. He needs to either leave the PL or play in an EPL team that plays fluid footie.

I think Jovetic is an option to consider.
Not gone well for him at City so far and they might be tempted to get rid.
I think he would be great in our side but I have to say that where he plays is probably the position we need to strengthen the least.
We have a fair few players who can play that number 10 role.

{Ed002's Note - He won't be joining Liverpool. He is not an option.}
