Sturridge has been poor since his comeback from long term injury and new contract, but to be fair to him his strength, like Balotelli, is not as a sole striker, he works better in a front 2.

The whole set up of the team now was to address our horrific goals against record.

Once a happy medium is established and another striker is at the club that Rogers trusts, Sturridge will be back up to speed.

In the mean time we just have to trust Rogers to keep on grinding out the wins albeit in not as stylish a manner as many would ideally like.

Trust me Supermario, 3 points is 3 points mate !

Sorry to digress here,

However which one of you hapless bunch is responsible for that BLUE Reliant Robin in the Nivea advert ?

Own up ED001 :)

{Ed001's Note - it would never be blue mate, even my missus knows better than that.}

That's no excuse for how poor he has been elderslie.his movement decision making and link up play has been awful to watch I don't see any reason why lambert can't get a game with the way sturridge has been playing.
I hope sterling starts over him on sunday

Lambert will never start over Sturridge as he can't run in behind and the wages Sturridge is being paid means he will start all games when fit.

No reason why Rickie can't start alongside him tho with Sterling just behind
