Not a rumour but it looks like summer transfers are more or less coming good and I hope next summer we will go for quality rather than quantity.
In my own world Petr ÄŒech, Alexandre Lacazette, Song, Nathaniel Clyne would be excellent and realistic additions. When Gerrard and Johnson leave, there will be a huge salary expense lifted off our books.
God help us in selling Balotelli, Borini, Aspas, Alberto and most likely Enrique.

{Ed001's Note - why would you want Song? I don't get the way people rave about him. He is supposed to be a defensive midfielder, yet he doesn't track runners, doesn't make any effort to get back and gives the ball away a lot. He is big and strong and flashy, but he is not defensively minded, and so lazy it would lead to me throttling him if I was his manager!}

I would be happy with just Lacazette and Cech in the summer. If Lucas leaves, then a CDM would also be needed.

A goalkeeper is all we need in my opinion.
With young players being introduced.
I think its time we took stock of what we have and who we need to get rid of first.
Get rid of Enrique, Allen, Borini et al.
Look at who we can bring in to the first team squad from the academy and after that if we need any holes filled in the squad buy absolute top quality.

{Ed001's Note - that is how it should always be done. Only buy top quality for the first team, the cover should come from the academy.}

Cech and Lacazette aren't realistic targets really will have better offers from clubs in the CL that can offer better wages.

Luis Adriano would be great for a free bit linked with juventus so maybe not, maybe Yarmolenko who is free this summer (more of a wide player though). Not see a lot but kokorin seems to have a good record as well and is entering his prime.

Clear out about 10-12 players and get a good forward, keeper, and if lucas goes DM. Then use our youth as have a lot and a few should make it, don't mind selling them on as long as they get a chance first.

Could even make a profit next summer and still challenge for the title as squad is actually good. Just lacking in a few areas

I agree with you ed001,we should only buy top quality.
We need to bring in.
Keeper
right back.
Toure is getting older.
2 midfielders
Top quality Striker.
Mignolet will be back up.
Johnson and Gerrard are leaving and need to be replaced.
Lucas will properly leave and we need to replace his defensive qualities.
Top class striker .
So i think we need to bring in 5/6 players,
Wisdom,borini,enrique,balotelli,illori,coates,alberto,aspas don't have a future with us.
But i still have a feeling balloteli could come good with sturridge up top.
We have some youngsters with qualities none are ready yet but in time some will be.
Rossiter,kent,ojo,wilson,williams,sinclair and maybe mclauglin/smith.
We should give some of them some some minutes next season.

Editor 1, may be I haven't watched enough west ham games this season. I thought he was a quality defensive midfielder and he is being rated highly this season. We need another defensive midfielder. we needed that since Alonso and Mashcerano left. ideally I would like someone like Wistel or Martinez but Liverpool can't afford the fees and wages for that kind of player.
