Hi Ed 01 just wondering what you made of the comments attributed to rogers in this weekends papers of telling the owners to invest in ready made first team players. What will the owners have made of this statement and can the media not see how ridiculous his statements are becoming. For gods sake are lambert lovren lallana and ballotelli all ready made first team players with experience of the league. Of the younger players both moreno and markovic were fist team regulars at their clubs and full internationals. Every single interview I read the same message is coming out that our form is down to the new players not settling not adapting not use to our style of play. Just for once I would like to have come out and say that the form of senior and established players hasn't been up to scratch just to take the heat off the newcomers

{Ed001's Note - he is just looking for excuses and to cast the blame elsewhere. He has been told repeatedly about his comments to the media but he is only interested in casting the blame elsewhere. I am sure that he will be blaming the transfer committee for every player that doesn't work out while claiming it was all down to him that anyone who does work out long term got signed.}

If he has been told repeatedly, how is it that he is still doing it though ed?

{Ed001's Note - because he doesn't listen. He doesn't learn from his mistakes.}

Do u think there could be something in his comments tho ed1?
As an Example, he could have told the owners we don't need all these signings we just need 2 top class, ready made players?

I remember he did say that before we signed all these players in the summer, that he would rather have two world class players than 8 mediocre ones.

Maybe it's frustration.

{Ed001's Note - I do agree with his comments, but he was part of the decision making process and should shut up and work with what he has. The team is far better than the results he has got out of it, no one is to blame for that but him.}

I agree.
There's been suggestions on here about big changes to the staff in the summer, do you think the owners will ever look to bring in a top manager who has a proper plan for the team, not just let's score more than our opponents.

I already see how the Chelsea games are going to go, and Mourinho knows we've got no game plan apart from attack.

I'd like a Benitez type manager who changes his approach based on his opponents.

{Ed001's Note - why would you want that? Why can't we just have a manager who wins games through good football?}

Are u suggesting Rodgers is that man?

{Ed001's Note - not in the slightest.}
