Someone please help me understand,
In the last few seasons alone we have had Villas-Boas with his bizarre team selections at Spurs have a bad run and the press hounding for him to be out, we've had Moyes at UTD who had a better record than we currently possess being hounded out by the press for all his misgivings, we personally had Roy and his face scrubbing led a merry dance by the media when it came to a get him out campaign, that's amongst countless others who have had the treatment from the newspapers,
Yet here we are apparently one of the countries major clubs in the position we are in, not only with minimal wins to our name but with no idea about our identity and players looking like they've never ever met each other being told by not only the newspapers but by some former players as well that we need to give Rodgers more time,
Why?,
He's spent an absolute fortune and don't tell me half of those players have become bad over night because they hav'nt, some are clearly not up to it, but some are so under used its unreal, they must be wondering what they have to do to get a run of games, Lucas for a start who for one makes us look far more solid,
I just don't get why the press seem to think giving a man whose decisions are going from bizarre to ridiculous more time is any different to sending in the demolition squad for poor old AVB, last season he was manager of the year, last season, not this season, and by the way finishing second got us nothing aside from the delusion that we were good enough to be back in the elite, we didn't win any trophies and nor has Rodgers so this sports media love in for a man who looks to have lost the plot is just one that I can't get my head around,
For what its worth i'm firmly in the camp of big clubs change managers frequently and it dosnt seem to do them any harm, Bayern for example, the days of Alex Ferguson and his lifetime tenure are gone and we're now in the sky sports driven world of results,

Something has to change and fast
