Eds,

If you had to give an unbiased opinion to Martin Odergaard and his representatives would you advise him to join Liverpool or go to another club.

My reason for asking is how bad BR has been at promoting youth and how liverpool seem to have poor player support especially for loan players.

{Ed002's Note - He is just a child, he would not be anywhere near the first team any time soon.}

But he has been promised first team football if he signs his 5 year deal with Real Madrid. Strange then that he isn't even close to Liverpools first team, but is being promised so at Real.

{Ed002's Note - He will go in to the U19 squad with recentlty arrived Mink Peeters if he joins Real Madrid. That has already been agreed.}

So did he spend time with Madrid first Ed before us ? i'm just trying to peice together what's happening with with him. I appreciate however that he is only 15.

Just wondering why you think he isn't anywhere close to being ready for Liverpools first team Ed002? I understand he is very, very young, a child as you say, but the lad has already played international football at a senior level. He seems to be up there as the highest rated young lad I can remember in a long time. When you consider sterling, for example, and many others started playing for senior teams at 17 then surely he wouldn't be too far away? He is 16 in the next couple of weeks.

Cheers

{Ed002's Note - He is a child until he is 18 and has zero relevant experience in playing at the level Liverpool are playing.}

If Real Madrid want Odegaard, then that is where he is most likely to end up. Really does not matter if he is a LFC fan, because RM are the biggest club in the world by quite a distance and the training facilities i presume must be better not to mention Madrid being a better place to live. He would be guaranteed trophies and big money at RM while at LFC, both would be a big if depending on the club's performance in the coming years. If RM make a solid offer, there is not much Liverpool can do.
