Hi Ed002. Wanted your thoughts please in Minamino. Do you think it is a good signing in terms if is he well thought of by others. Also will him signing have any impact on what we do with Shaqiri, given they play in similar positions.

Also would this be the Attacking Midfield player you recently advised us that the club might well look to strengthen in.

{Ed002's Note - Takumi Minamino (RW/F) has gotten himself a good reputation over the past couple of years but he is primarily a RW - although he has occasionally been used as an AM and LW. Shaqiri will be behind him in the pecking order but much will depend on other comings and goings as space has to be made in the squad.

Augsburg were keen in the summer and at one time Everton and Dynamo Moscow had scouts look at Takumi Minamino. His agent and a third party lawyer have held discussions recently with Werder Bremen about the player and Liverpool became interested and have been talking to RBL - an agreement has been for the transfer subject to the financials being agreed (I assume they have now), a medical and a Work Permit.

It would not be a surprise to see a Liverpool player or two go on loan to RBS at sime point.}

Without it causing to much trouble ed, are we paying more than the reported 7.5million?

{Ed002's Note - That was about the Liverpool starting price in negotiations. Until the TMS is updated - perhaps by the end of the first week in January - will I not know the actual agreed deal (including add ons (e.g. for appearances)).}

I like the idea of a loan or two to RBS, they play a great game and quite similar in style to Liverpool in many ways. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but your hint Ed02 is fascinating and could explain why they’d be Ok to let him go in Jan? Maybe Rhian and/ or Curtis? Hope that’s the case as would be a very very smart move if true!

With you suggesting a possibility of players being loaned to RBS, would you think of this as somewhere Brewster could recieve some game time? In my head it seems like a decent plan for us, and feasibly for the player himself with Haaland reportedly moving on, but does it seem like something Salzberg may be interested in?

{Ed002's Note - No, I said at some point.}

Rhian needs higher level experience in my opinion. If someone like palace were interested or even Leeds, that level is better for him, he could easily get minutes at palace.

I've seen rumours online this morning that Brewster and Curtis could be off to Swansea on loan. Personally think that would be a good little move for them. I believe both played under Cooper for England youth teams so if he is after them i would expect it to be straight into the first team for them for plenty of game time.
