David Neres of Ajax is the latest linked with us. Having a fairly good season the 22 year old.

Any insight into this one eds? Apparently we've been watching him at the very least.

{Ed002's Note - Everton, not Liverpool. I am not aware of any interest being shown by Liverpool at all and he would not be an improvement over Harry Wilson, and as far as I know the club are expecting much of him. Joining Liverpool would be a risky and a big step up.}

Nearly forgot about our Harry Wilson then. Would completely destroy his chances with us if we bought Neres. The mooted price was 40 million which, by the sounds of your description on him, is far too much.

Perhaps the links have mixed us watching him with another Ajax player instead.

Saw him play for Brazil in the last game, and he was really very good; a game changer the moment he came on. Equally good today, versus Juventus. Right-footed, but can play on both wings, just like Mane.

Still only young and a very respectable return this season with goal contributions. I've only watched him twice so my opinion of him can't be made yet but at that age there's plenty more potential. Personally I don't see Wilson in klopps plans, he's not suited to our style, he deserves a pre season and hopefully prove me wrong.
