I've just read on BBC's deadline day updates that Ben Woodburn isn't going back out on loan.

I find that a bit strange, as surely his minutes will be limited in our first team squad.

He was doing well training and playing under the Liverpool system of play, at whichever level. Maybe that's what he needs more of, in order to develop and grow rather than go elsewhere, learn a new system and just sit on the bench? Guess it's a decision made by the coaching staff and they think something along these lines.

He could have a macheda moment for us.

Klopp said he wouldn't go anywhere unless there were game time guarantees. Rightly so. Woodburn might as well fight for a place in our team, rather than someone else's. Klopp said he got impatient before, so hopefully Ben realises now that loan moves are not beneficial 9 times out of 10. He should stay at Liverpool where he can learn from world class players and coaches.

I would rather see Woodburn come on for the last 20 minutes of the game than Lallana.

I think we are anyway short off alternatives to Mane on the left inside-forward role, which is where Woodburn plays from. I am hoping to see him get some minutes off the bench over the rest of the season. Fingers crossed for the lad - if even one of him and Brewster come good over the next 12 months or so, it will be a big win for us as a club.

Dont see Woodburn or Brewster getting any game time this season. The club look to be taking it slow to get brewster ready for a good preseaon and it seems to be that klopp prefers to have the older players like Sturridge and Lallana in the matchday squads.

If it was up to me if they are training well I would give them a shot off the bench, up to them to take the the chance as at the moment Sturridge and Lallana are not taking there chance from the bench.

I think Brewster will go on to be a good player for us but I can't see woodburn making it, not good enough IMO.
