£19 million for someone who has potential. nuts but fair play to Edwards for getting that much for him. particularly if there’s a sell on fee/ first option clause in it.

A couple of people on here were saying that the Solanke deal to Palace falling through the other day was a disaster, they’ll be eating humble pie now.

Getting clyne surely had to be an incentive for them paying over the odds for Solanke, it made little sense for us to move him on otherwise. If that’s the case then it’s still a good deal.
