Hearing Joe Gomez will be fit enough for the PSG game, slight knock to his ankle on Friday afternoon kept him out as a precaution for today
Not a bad game today, first have was very lazy and lacked desire, half time bollocking from Jurgen seemed to have had an impact, second half was much better and more clinical, thought Andy and Sadio had a brilliant game today. Seen a lot of hate towards Henderson today, and recently to be fair, He is just doing what the boss has instructed him to do, hold the back well in midfield and keep things ticking over, he's not going to burst through and play through balls, that's what Klopp bough Naby for, regrettably he's finding it tough st the moment, showing a fantastic attitude in training, him and Fabinho, will just take them time to settle in, with a busy few months ahead we will see a lot more of them in games to come. On to PSG now, our fate is in our own hands, and hopefully the lads grip it and deliver.

I didn't see "a lot of hate" towards Henderson. Just criticism about not having the self control to stay calm and not get a second yellow. I mean every football player knows, this right? Once you get your first, you make sure you don't get a second, get your walking orders, and put your team at a disadvantage. It's not rocket science.

That said, I think he is an indispensable member of the team and should play every game, if he could. Just needs to channel all his mental energy and toughness in a positive manner, and still be aware that as Captain, maybe everyone will hold him to a higher standard.

Defensively Hendo does a job but going forward I feel he does slow us down, too many sideways and backwards passes and often dropping in between the centre backs to pick up possession. Gini, Milly and Fabinho look far better going forward when playing teams that sit back. If he was not team captain I would suspect he would offloaded and with Virgil in the side I see him as the next captain of Liverpool.

Problem these days is people don't watch players close enough, all of this backpassing and sideway passing isn't really how it is if you watched him properly. I think it was Ed1 who said a few weeks ago (appolagies if it weren't you Ed) that no matter what, nobody will change their minds about him, you either like him or you don't but personally I think it's one of them, certain people aren't watching him as closely as they should.

My boy thought he was turd until I told him to pay more attention to what he does on the pitch, now he's one of his favourite players.

Firmino is another example, many people don't rate him where as to me, he's the best player we have, he's the engine to our team imo. You don't realise what you have until you've lost it, without Hendo and Firmino we'd decline and that's as simple as it gets imo. Both absolutely quality and must be starting every single game, it's players like that who will push us towards our next trophy - the PL, mark my words.

Absolutely right, Mo. It's a team; a machine with 11 cogs that work with each other. And each cog has it's own specific responsibility to carry out.

Love hendo to bits. great player but. .1 thing that is annoying me is, when he does get forward Why will he not shoot for gods sake. He's more than capable as we know. In fairness all the midfield are the same. barring the ox. Too many passes, sometimes why can't they just pull the trigger.

Does anybody remember that great "tiki-taka " Barcelona team run by Guardiola that passed out of the ball each game, and bored opposing players, all the fans and everyone else to sleep? And yet nobody said a word because they always won. It was celebrated as great mastery, supreme tactical strategy and sublime ball possession. And yet, here we are, some people are objecting to midfield passes being multiplied because the opening is not found. Perhaps it's preferred that the ball is "hoofed' upfront (by let's VVD and Lovren/ Gomez) and have 22 players rush for it like mad bulls, like in the good old days?
