Liverpool should put the money up and sign Icardi in the summer if not January.

God no! Icardi is a piece of work. He is a good striker but he would not fit in to our team whatsoever. He is a player that should be avoided at all costs. He threatened to have Inter fans killed! he stole his teammates wife! he is not someone i would like at our club as a person, let alone a player.

{Ed0333's Note - I agree Icardi is a wrongun for going off with Maxi Lopez’ wife. At least let them split up and then do your thing. Apprently it was lopez’ wife that was the seductress. Still don’t make it right tho.

One of the worlds best in the box, incredibly average at everything else. Considering his lack of pressing and all round play I'm not sure how he'd even fit into our style, not to mention his incredibly bad attitude.

But sure, let's try and buy a player who has no interest leaving in order to replace a significantly better player in Firmino. I'm sure Inter would be happy to sell him at a reasonable price that Liverpool can definitely afford. Definitely a January purchase.
