Don't understand this fekir deal how can his medical be fine after a second opinion according to the echo but he does all the media stuff but now it's in doubt, please tell me it's just Lyon being a bit awkward.

I get that clubs try and hang on to their assets as long as possible but if players terms are agreed and medical is done and interviews are done etc etc why do they arse about afterwards? I’m assuming that it’s something in the way the money is being paid to Lyon and how it’s all structured etc that’s holding the deal up. Or are Lyon just bein tough negotiators as they want the most for their man?

Not as awkward as some of the ITKs will feel this morning after "news imminent" or "announcement at 9pm".

Until the club says something there’s no news on Fekir so no need to stress about it. So far Liverpool haven’t said anything and we are just feeding off journos menu - speculation!

It is indeed Lyon that is holding up and being awkward, last night everything was in place to confirm, these things happen. do I feel awkward. no. I was passing genuine information on to my fellow reds.

These things do indeed happen. As do people claiming to have the inside track on what's happening behind the club's closed doors.
It's a double edged sword, ITKs look like "the man with the knowledge" if it comes off, but a proper attention seeking divvy when it predictably doesn't.
Time will tell I suppose. At least you didn't resort to "I saw him at John Lennon airport"!
