Lyon release a statement this morning on there twitter that says the transfer of fekir to liverpool is false!

I don't think so Barry. I think we haven't signed him yet or reached an agreement with Lyon.
I didn't believe it when all the media outlets were reporting it. I only believe what the club and the eds tell us.

It's transfer season and the media love a bit of a saga, when something is due to be said the club or eds will let us know. Until then take the 'twitter storm' with a pinch of salt, it is now a bunch of people who don't know what's going on making a claim, hoping it's right so they can then say there ITK, in reality they took a lucky guess.

The media hate transfers like Fabinho as there is no speculation and nothing to make their story different to any one elses.

I'm pretty sure what they said translates to "some information regarding the transfer is false", which could be any number of things, although I could be wrong.
