Liverpool echo now reporting interest from Lfc in Moses Simon, apparently we have heavily scouted him. Personally I’ve never heard of him, any thoughts on this story or player Ed02?

Is it something you expect to happen? Would he get into the first team or just an impact sub? As I say I know nothing about him, quality player or not?

Well Macca said he is one of the player we are interested and you have said that the asking price is too high for any club to approach Barcelona. It’s clear we are looking at wide players then.

I remember ed002 mentioning Moses a while back I took a look at him on yt looks like he’s got some potential, id be happy with him and Wilson as backup/ rotation wide players next year if it means we can get Fekir and Allison in.

I wish people would stop taking things macca says as gospel. Macca is there for us 3-4 days a year and isn’t as reliable as he used to be. The Eds are here every day with invaluable info on transfers and others going on most of us wouldn’t begin to think about let alone understand, and I can’t remember them being wrong on a thing.

Red-JB, Macca like the eds thankfully give us information as best they know it. We need to accept that things change, deals fall through etc. I along with everyone else am sure. Are very grateful to macca and the Eds. I've noticed in last few weeks been some comments like macca said or he's already gave you the list and its boring now. Neither the Eds or macca called the Fabinho transfer so just shows that nobody knows it all. And will get info wrong or not get info at all on certain things.

Sorry Red JB but as far as I am concerned Macca is the best source of information we have about transfers although It’s not a contest between Macca v The eds.
Sorry but ed2 seems upset with Macca for some reason and that’s frustrating if I’m honest.

I'm with Red JB on this, I appreciate Macca giving us info, I really appreciate it but his last post was simply predictions but so many people looked at it as that's who we were signing? I don't think he meant it in that way at all or maybe I am looking at it a different way who knows. Ed2 gave us info daily, info we know full well to be correct because he IS in the know. This has been proved time and time again.

In the past Macca has said things like 'X player is done'

That post last month was not one of them posts.

Sikaboy you say it's not a contest, you're correct, why some fans make it into a contest is what is frustrating, no wonder Ed2 get's pissed off but not at Macca, at people causing hassle for no reason. Why can't people just appreciate kind acts instead of making it into a competition?

I’ve been visiting this site for around 10 years since back when it was just transfer-rumours. And not to offend any of the others, but the most reliable has always been Ed001 and Ed002 (in no particular order), and then the rest, including Macca. I really wish folks would just stop taking any of them for granted, though. Whether they are right, or maybe occasionally something changes, appreciate that they have taken the time to offer up knowledge of theirs that you don’t have, and they aren’t charging you.

Can everyone not just appreciate what we get. either from macca or any of the eds.
If it comes off then great. you can tell your friends down the pub.
Most transfers hit problems and none are 100% until the guy has the shirt on. Appreciate the onfo, because without this website most of us would be clueless and just sitting about scratching our balls waiting for the season to start.

Its more impossible than ever to predict with 100% accuracy transfers in todays football.

Agents are at their work more than ever.

Any insight you get from someone a little more in the know than yourself is a bonus that should not be scoffed at and more importantly ridiculed if it does not happen.

Its a rumours site and a good 80% of information will ultimately end up being just that unless its a nugget that a player signing is imminent.

The information, insight on all things football, and general post discussions on this sight are second to none. let's try and keep it that way.

In terms of the eds, the hand that feeds you should never be bitten. The ground work they put in on all things football is awesome. Respect is definately well earned on that front.

Such threads is the reason macca goes quiet and you all start asking the eds where he went. Both Macca and eds get things right and they also get others wrong. Non of them intends to give us inaccurate info, they only give us what they know. Wrong or right we should just appreciate there efforts without comparing who is who. Non of us pays them for this stuff.

As nice as Macca's info is, he does only post like Every 3 months it seems. The eds are here day in day out providing information and then Macca posts and all of that info is just thrown out the window. The eds know already how much some of us appreciate what they do, but unfortunately there will always be a sub-section of us that will take them for granted. I understand why you have taken a step back ed2.

Anyone who gives information does so out of the good of their own heart and not for any personal gratification.
I am very appreciative of it all. We could all do with recognising that rather than holding people to account.

As far as Ed002 is concerned he gives so much more than reliable transfer info. His posts have educated me and I dare say “the majority” about the finer, non-public parts of football. The financial structures, the administrative side of the game. He knows a lot more than mere transfer info and he knows a great deal more about football than this old seasonsed spectator.

More than this I appreciate ed002’s humour, brutal honesty and wit. 👍.

The only reason I can possibly see for anyone getting annoyed about this (and I mean posters; it's fairly obvious why Macca and Ed002 would get annoyed about it! ) is if someone reads a rumour on here, rushes out and tells all his mates, puts bets on, gets a shirt with a name on the back printed on it, and then it doesn't come off and they look like an idiot. but to be honest, if that is what you do, you look like an idiot whether they sign or not.

The information that both Macca and Ed02 provide on transfers is awesome. As we have learnt here, things can change very quickly regarding transfers. Fabinho was completely unexpected. Liverpool stepped in after Athletico Madrid dropped out. Neither Ed02 or Macca predicted that, which is perfectly understandable.

The problem is that while Ed02 provides info for us almost daily, Macca posts only a few times a year. Through no fault of his own some fans then treat Macca like the great messiah, who has returned. Hanging on his every word and then abusing Ed02 if he does not agree with Macca or simply has not heard the same info.

I'm on here every day looking for transfer info, but like most of us rational fans, I do not lose my temper if we don't sign the player I would like, for whatever reason. It's just a game.

I personally really appreciate all the transfer updates Ed002 and the others all provide. I don't think it's fair they suffer abuse when all they are trying to do is inform us fans.
