Not really anything new but I know someone who has connections with Lyon tell me about Fekir.

Apparently a 'handshake' agreement has been made. Until the contract is signed, which wasn't going to be until after their last game on the weekend nothing is confirmed but said it's 90% there.

A couple of clubs were interested including Atletico, reluctant to reach the 60 million euro price tag and Chelsea who wanted him. Fekir however wanted Liverpool over Chelsea.

It comes as no surprise that one of the main reasons for choosing Liverpool was his desire to work with Klopp.

i heard it was other way. fekir preffered chelsea but had not formally bid. LFC for all the media crap have a deal with Lyon but haven't agreed personal terms with fekir only via agent. 99% coz LFC haven't sat down with him yet. For all those who said VVD/ KEITA was certain but didn't happen. who is the team now albeit later than planned but was 100% truth in the player signing.
