Afternoon Ed’s and red, just a quick question, which of the two left footed French wizards are we more actively looking at. I’ve heard conflicting story regarding Lemar and Fekir
I know we have a history with Lemar but wondered if we’d shifted our interest.

Plays in the final 3rd (AM, Striker, occasionally out wide) for Lyon. Very versatile, pretty creative, pretty good injury record, very impressive long shot and probably a better free kick taker than any we have right now.

Against that, we don't have a natural equivalent position in our squad for where he plays though, so would either need to change our shape quite a bit to channel more through the center or else he would need to become happy playing slightly deeper than he normally does. Also I'd be shocked if we weren't outbid for him by someone else, and is playing for his hometown club anyway so probably wouldn't move for the love.

I rather Fekir than Lemar but I don't think our formation would suit him. and we all know Klopp is a little stubborn with changings things up :)
