Hi Eds,

Hoping you’re doing great.
Skysports reporting., the club is set to hold further contract talks with Emre Can this month.
Do you expect it to be resolved, or you still expect him to leave?

Thanks, cheers!

{Ed001's Note - how on earth can we know that? It is his personal choice who he signs with, he doesn't even know yet!}

Hoping it can be resolved, he is a good solid player and worth keeping. Make business sense rather than lose on a free. German international Centre mid who is still young. Be a regrettable move letting him go.

Can needs to step up his game if he is going to stay at LFC IMO. He has a tonne of potential but he’s too inconsistent. Maybe it’s focus?

I think he can achieve it all here if he stays. He has grown quite a bit in stature recently and is becoming a household name in Germany and England. We should do our best to keep him and play him with Keita and Hendo next year.

Maybe a haircut like Bobby’s will improve him 😂.

{Ed025's Note - or take his teeth out and replace them with a grand piano.. :)

I think Can is very good. Really rate him. Think he’s on the path for a very good level in a few years time. He will haunt us if he leaves as a good one that got away.

I don't really rate him. I suspect that he would be a much better player in a slower league.

One thing I can be sure of is that if he does stay, he will be on a massive wage and I personally think that it would be better spent elsewhere.

We should take the hit and let him go, as he will never be truly committed.

Haunt us Octopus?

What's he going to do, score a spooky goal?

He struggles with them as it is.

Bellzdogg
Has to be milinkovic savic 100%
Watched the lad quite a lot this season oozes class and would be a mainstay in our team for next 10 years .
Going to be a midfield superstar next season or so .

I actually like the look of Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Probably no hope of getting him in as a squad player to begin with and see from there.
He's pretty physical but can play a bit.
Only young too, with loads of room to improve - think Chelsea have a fine player there if he can avoid injuries.

Olrish Kevin 1 you've just crowd the lad it's been announced he's going to be out a lot longer than thought with his latest injury.

Can has already proven he can do a very good job at the base of midfield, and was a key factor in defeating Man City in particular.

He has the physicality to break up play and help with set pieces, has the tackling skills, can distribute the ball accurately, and even push forward very effectively in attack and score goals. and he’s just 23. On the downside he’s not the most nimble due to his size, but with experience that won’t matter as much in the no.6 position, and he can sometimes dally on the ball, but that’s also something that can easily be improved.

Why would we not want him as 23 year old German international that plays in a problem position for us at base of midfield? I hope we can convince him to develop there, I can see him being a long term solution there.

I like the lad from Everton, Gueye is it?
That's the second Everton player I've complimented recently, I'll have to watch it.

{Ed025's Note - i think you may be a closet blue juicer..
