Ignore the abuse Spooked, it's a rumours site at the end of the day and the last thing the majority of us want to do is alienate potential sources and rumours. It's not like you're saying you've seen Aguero at John Lennon Airport or anything.

Personally, I'd be sad to see Adam leave if this is true, he's quality when he's had a run of games under his belt and is important with the counter-press.

Thanks for the info Spooked. I think the move would suit both sides.

Fair play Spooked thank's for that.

If Lallana goes, he goes. I doubt he'd make the starting line up next season anyway.

Lallana on form prior to his injury is an outstanding member of the squad. out of sight out of mind for some people.

Agreed Ben Elf.

We were all gutted when he first became injured as he was such an important player for us. He started the press on most occasions for us last year.

He was infuriating when he first joined when trying to beat the same player 3 times but since Klopp has been his manager he is much more economical and has often been MOTM.

I'd be sad to see him leave if that is what he wanted.

Your welcome guys. For the record I personally also believe it'll be the best thing for him to move on. I don't want him to but it's the inevitable.

Could it be that he sees his best position to be higher up the pitch where he did so well for Southampton but never excelled at Liverpool?

Just because he plays his heart out every time for Klopp doesn't mean he loves playing in that role. Also perhaps he's conscious that in mid thirties he won't be useful in his current role because it requires tonnes of stamina.

I surely think his best position is am. don't think he wanna play anywhere else either.

He's probably past his best now with injuries and age, I have almost forgotten the way he plays - but I don't think our style of fast paced football suits him. He closes down well, but can't really tackle, and isn't a pacey dribbler and lacks the decision making in the final third.
If a bid came in in the summer I'd accept.

Firmane. he's one of the best players in our squad. Absolutely brilliant dribbler and can finish with both feet. He's also got an engine on him and presses right from the front.

Having said that, I don't see him shifting Mane, Salah or the Ox, but Adam is very valuable as a squad player.

It tells a lot about international vs premier league football now when England's last years player of the year is spoken about as 50/ 50 about being bothered if he goes or not for our club.

Personally, I'd be gutted if someone I absolutely trusted and spoke to every day went around telling complete strangers my personal feelings just because they liked where I worked.

If any of this isn't complete nonsense (and it does seem odd that you went for dinner with someone but could post at 6:50 about your conversations), perhaps you should think about telling your friend to take a hard look at themselves and if you're the one asking the questions, have a think about the position you put your mate in.

{Ed001's Note - are you sure a rumours site is the right place for you mate?}

On his day Lallana is a terrific footballer, I'd be sorry to see him go as he has always given his all in a red shirt and aside from the fact he is a good footballer he also seems a nice bloke, but if he does go I wish him all the best and thanks for his efforts.

Technically excellent, holds the ball up very well. Sometimes holds it too long. Excellent attitude.
Would be disappointed to see him go but the team is progressing and he is getting on a bit. Long term injuries at his age are tough to fully recover from.
If he goes I wish him well and would always get a great reception if he came back to Anfield.
Happy for him to stay though. 👍.

Ed001 - I'm sure it's not at all!

{Ed001's Note - I know the feeling at times though.}
