Schalke have offered Leon Goretzka a very good new contract and he is mulling that over whilst he is aware of offers from Barcelona and Juventus that will be formalised in January. Additionally his representatives have spoken with three English sides (not Liverpool) and are awared of renewed interest from Bayern Munich, although that is complicated by regulation. Arsenal having taken a new employee on board are certainly interested and I would not rule out Manchester United but he is perhaps third pick for them. For reasons that are beyond me, many Liverpool fans are convinced that he has already agreed to join the club. Liverpool's interest stems from when they were struggling to agree a deal for Keita and he was seen as a potential option. Bayern Munich are making it known that they would offer a guarantee for the summer but they cannot speak to him in January - although they will continue to make their position clear to his agent.
