Eds, any news on Cans contract? I saw a report that he's willing to sign if wages are met? I hope he stays, I think him and keita could form a long term partnership and with our attack, if we sort out our defense I think we could be real contenders!

On a side note. Since it's nearly impossible to use the search function for "can" can we all agree to use Ecan or some other name when referring to can?

Specifically HIGH money and LOW release clause. Oh for the optimism of youth!

My understanding is that he wants 150,000 per week and that the release clause is somewhere between 25,000 and 30,000.

If he leaves in summer, I doubt Juve can give him 150k/ wk. maybe Citeh can trump that. But he will leave on free which is crazy.

If I am negotiating, I will put certain margin of trade off to salary and sell on clause. Higher salary means higher sell on clause. Can will. have to choose. E. g I can pay you 100k/ wk which 50k/ wk less than what you want but I can lower sell on clause say from 35mil to 30mil.

{Ed001's Note - why would you doubt that? Clearly you have no idea about the financial situation at Juve. They pay high wages and can easily afford that.}

To be fair to him and/ or his agent they're going about this in a better way to the club than a certain team mate. Maybe some people just have a better understanding about not burning bridges.
