Hi redman6. Would you drop firminio? Throw a forward in front of Danny sturridge on the bench? I don't think we need a new striker. We remind me of Spain a few years ago when they were winning everything. Didn't use an out and out striker. Origi could be going out and I think that speaks volumes about the direction of our squad. It is attack minded, versatile midfielder/ winger that we are looking for. I. e. lemar, Renato Sanches. I think our front line is the most dangerous forward line in the league. Injuries happen though and if mane and salah got hurt we don't look half as strong.

Saying all that, I would take sanchez from arsenal or aguero, although I don't see them coming to sit on the bench.

Who would you like to see dude?

Superred. We're not going to be able to get Sanchez or Aguero. Where would that money come from? To me we're focusing on improving the right areas cb and midfield.
Hopefully VVD will sign today.

The ox has rejected chelski an wants us, I would rather have lemar if its between the 2, but if we can't get lemar ox is good squad player with european football experience who can cover wide positions an could thrive under klopp.

A striker is required. Sturridge will be injured for at least part of the season. Firminio is doing well but an injury would leave us short of cover IF Origi goes out on loan.

I know that's a few "ifs" but sturridge doesn't tend to stay fit long and if that's our only cover then it could be an issue. Love sturridge but if that's our only option then we could be in trouble. Ings hopefully isn't too far away.

If we get a new striker it would have to be someone that materially improves on Sturridge otherwise what's the point? Can only see it being sensible if something opportunistic and really special comes up (like Aguero) and Sturridge were to leave.

Sanches is an attacking midfielder cobra. Well, an attack minded midfielder (central) as opposed to a defence minded one. He is creative and very good going forward. He's not going to play on the front line though, you're right. I'd like us to buy him rather than loan. I haven't seen that much of him but ghought he was really good for portugal in the euros.

You've forgotten about Solanke! The fact that Origi is potentially being loaned out speaks volumes to me on how Solanke must be training. I hope Solanke gets a chance this season and takes it with both hands.

Also mane and salah play as forwards. Wingers yes but I'm sure salah or mane can play there. So can coutinio. Woodburn. Lemar vould probably play on the front line too.
