JaYox, what department are we lacking in that he plays? We're well stocked for wingers, he's not a number 10, he's not a centre midfielder and he's not a full back,

Obviously don't know what's gone on behind the scenes but don't really understand the lack of approach or leaving an approach to this late in the window when it's a player that klopp has seemingly wanted all window. Surely would have made more sense to put a bid on the table and open a dialog before the season started.

I'm pretty sure we only have 3 senior wingers? Mane Salah and Kent? Yes Woodburn can play there but he's seen more as a CM, Coutinho can play there but who's knows what's happening there. Firmino, Sturridge and Origi can play there but all are ineffective so by signing Ox we get a player who's versatile and experienced so for me I'd like us to sign him.

I don't get this idea that he's versatile? He's an ordinary winger, he's awful in central midfield, he can't play as a number 10 and he's ok as a wing back (which given the fact we don't play with 3 centre backs is a moot point) . Given our shortcomings in centre of midfield, central defence and Pipco's imminent departure, it's a signing that makes zero sense as it's not a priority.

I don't see how sighning a young english versitile player with a work ethic like his could be a bad thing. and he's talented. We could end up playing 60 games this season.

Ox will not improve the first team and what is grujic, chopped liver? Rather have him coming off the bench in the midfield than the ox. People also have short memories, the ox is very injury prone, we already have two in the squad, would not seem logical to add another.

We still lack quality in CM, yes when Lallana is back we get a good player back and when window shuts Coutinho will have to start playing etc for World Cup. Still think another CM is needed, depth was our downfall last season. For me CM (Keita or Goretzka), VVD for CB and Ox for wing.
