I've passed on some information about the club will come out in public and announce/ confirm contact/ negotiations and possible fee agreement on Thurs.

Heard from a reliable source that Liverpool have a deal all but done. The club are waiting to confirm CL qualification (and obviously money) before completing the deal. That would support what the poster is claiming I suppose.

Is there a reason other than pessimism for that post Ron? Not being rude mate just curious. I think (if we get past hoffenhiem) kieta is signing. I reckon the reason it has taken so long is because us being in UCL is vital for the signing to go through. Ball moving after Tuesday. VVD is still tipped by most to sign and I haven't given up on that idea just yet. The fact we haven't gone for alternatives to both kieta and VVD speaks volumes. Everyone knows our squad isn't big enough for European football and title challenge.
