Do you think counts could leave now there are rumours of a 135 million bid for him? don't know if that would be pounds or Euros, but surely that sort of money can't be ignored specially if he wants the move because I can't see it being offered next year.

We need to keep our best players, I would love to be able to say no thank you to Barcelona, I wouldn't even take a messi swap .

I'd wager it was in Mexican Pesos given that sort of figure.

It's a feasible figure in Euro given the ridiculous numbers being quote for Neymar, Mbappe and the fact that Coutinho is fast becoming high profile in the Brazilian squad and has quite a few years to get better.

I hope we still don't sell - he'll be difficult to replace at this stage, even with money to burn. It was also clear against Athletico that you sometime need a Coutinho that can unlock even the most stubborn defences with a moment of magic.

He's not called the little magician for nothing, and they don't come along that often.

Neymar, Mbappe, Lukaku, Griezmann all of them are forwards who generally score lots of goals. Hence why the figures for them are considered to be very large. Clubs pay a premium for players who score goals. Just look at Lukaku, he scored something around 25 goals last season and no offence to Everton but there midfielders/ wingers aren't exactly world class. On the other hand Firmino only scored 11 goals despite having superior players creating better chances for him. Coutinho isn't a goal scorer, and whilst he is undoubtedly a special player, he's nowhere near worth the figures you're saying.

Coutinho is worth probably the same as Pogba so around 90m. Far away from the 135m people are saying.

Pogba was last year, before to revenues jumped by nearly 50%.
So £90m + 50% = £135m
Just sayin 😎.
