Hi EDs, it is being reported that Inter made a 35mil bid for Mane. Not sure how true but I reckon it is fake news as 35mil for Mane is a joke in today's market. It would be a waste of everybody's time if it was true. They might have better luck bidding 35mil for Sakho :)

Media see a team struggling to recruit and there best player linked elsewhere and jump on the band wagon as if we are a sinking ship.

Inter haven't even got champions league have they. The competition everyone wants to play in.

Leeee that's a good question. We've been told for years that the top players didn't come to us because they wanted to play in the CL. This window however doesn't back that statement up.

Jayden how hasn't it backed that up.? Salah, Van Dijk, Keita are all in that top bracket of players and want to or are playing for us. its other reasons we haven't got them all. i think macca said even Mendy was willing to come to us. the clubs dealings is the major issue this window and other bad past dealings effecting our chance of getting Sessegnon from Fulham, not the players themselves wanting to play for us.

If we finish top four this year ( or win it which I'm optimistic about ) maybe higher than 4th. I think any players reluctant to talk with us will change tune. Could be seen, by outsiders, as a one off this year. Any player joining a top English team is taking a bit of a gamble in terms of champions league these days.

It is, perhaps, the worst transfer article I've ever seen a paper come up with. At least make it £50m or something even remotely believable (I'm not valuing him at that price before I get a ton of abuse) . As Ed said, why would a club bid less/ equal to what we paid?! He had a superb season last year. It's either invented from thin air or inter are worse than us at negotiations.
