Considering we've not spent anything for the last few windows, we should have plenty available.

Don't laugh at shirt sales. Adidas were going to fund the sale of Messi a few years go, purely because he was an Adidas athlete.

Something along those lines.

{Ed002's Note - LFC don't get the money.}

First time poster. Great site this.
All I want to know. Is keita worth that amount of money if this bid is true £81 millon or euros is a massive amount of money.

I didn't think we made much, if anything at all, on shirt sales. I mentioned this the other day - I can't see two huge purchases in vvd and Keita unless we make a big sale. I genuinely hope this is not the case.

Jezza you do realise the volume of turnover we generate from replica shirt sales don't you?

Im pretty sure as ed002 states year in year out that we get a set fee for the shirt sponsorship and the shirt sales go to the manufacturer.

Bobby

Liverpool make no money from shirt sales. That is why New Balance sponsor Liverpool and recoup money from the merchandise sold.

When does the EPL pay out the money earned by EPL clubs and how does it get paid over? It is all fair and well fans talk about what clubs earn but fans surely do not know the finer details of how club finances work? I am not privy to it either.

I can remember reading a while ago that EPL TV money cannot be used to facilitate transfers. Might be wrong but maybe Ed002 can clarify that.

{Ed002's Note - I really don't want to get in to this financial discussion given that you have all missed the most obvious issue.}
