Eds, any truth to the Angel Correa links.

{Ed002's Note - Manchester City, PSG and Roma showed an interest in Atletico Madrid's Angel Correa last season but his wage demands priced him out of a move. An approach from Inter was rebuffed due to their transfer ban. I don't know of any Liverpool interest but buying yet another right winger makes little sense to me}

Thanks for quick reply. I think there are other priorities than signing another winger, although having 3 or 4 wingers in your squad would make most managers happy. Do you think another winger is what Klopp is pushing for or just lazy journalism. It seems we are being reportedly interested in a different winger every week.

Hi ends I agree with you why another right sided winger why no left wingers, and the only 1 we have in shey is going, there was rumours about di Maria he would be a good fit, Any news on him, and updates on mammana.

Correa is more a central player than rw though. looks like a good versatile player, think he can be a very good player in the right team.

Pretty sure Mane and Salah would switch positions throughout the match in order to promote fluidity and be harder to defend against, assuming Salah can play on the left. He is left footed so you'd hope so.

Mane probably played on the right more due to the fact we had no other option for that position whilst coutinho is very good on the left. didn't Mane play on the left a lot for Southampton. We have 2 players capable of playing either wing. i don't see this need to label them to one single role. If they are good enough they can play many positions. The ball is still round, the goals are still the same size, the grass is still green.

Ed2 almost certain I've read 100s of times on this about them both being right wingers and seen that we need to buy a left winger. were many asking why were we buying salah as he's a right winger just like mane.

Correa is not just a right winger. He can play anywhere across the front. He's versatile in the way Firmino is.
