Good morning eds/ all.

Just wondering what the deal is with Ojo, does Klopp see him as a talent? can we expect him to go out on loan for the season or can you see him been given more of a chance with us?

I think the lad is a real talent and can be the real deal, I'd love to see more of him but I feel the best for him this season might be a loan with another premier league team if possible?

Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - He didn't get a chance last season and if he is not going to this season a loan would be best. Newcastle are interested but I would think nothing will happen until the pre-season is over.}

I doubt there will be any loan out goings until pretty season has ended. That includes gomez ojo Wilson etc.

Ojo picked up an injury to his back and was only back in training towards the tail end of the season when the team was pushing hard for 4th place and he wasn't match fit. I'd agree that a loan would be best if he wasn't to get any game time next season and it would be perhaps smart if a Premier League club are interested to help with his recovery.

Slight misconception of the truth there, StraightTalk (how ironic) . Ojo was fit from November 2016. He didn't play in the first team due to a combination of 2 things; firstly he isn't as good as Woodburn or Wilson who did get opportunities through the hectic parts of our schedule, and secondly he was left in the u23's to regain form after his injury.

He wasn't injured even close to the whole season though, and he certainly wasn't left out due to a lack of trust from Klopp in youth players when stakes are high. Otherwise Woodburn and Arnold wouldn't have played so many minutes last year.

I would not say he is not as good but he has struggled to regain form, he needs to eat less as he looked heavy most of the season. He is certainly talented and i can't believe we did not let rafa take him on loan as it would have done him the world of good. don't see the point in having talented players stagnate in the u23 when they could be getting valuable competitive games in the prem. Same goes for gomez for me, no point keeping them just because you want to rest a few first teamers for cup games while their careers and talent stall. We did the same to suso and look how he has flurished from getting minutes on the pitch.

Allegedly, past disciplinary issues may become an obstacle for him. I'm not sure what the deal is between him and the manager right now, but I was told that he was seriously reprimanded last season for a number of outbursts towards the manager, displayed a lack of tactical discipline and allegedly has said and done few other things that should remain private. All I know is the club values his potential.
