RBL have already signed Konrad Laimer (centre midfield) a couple of days ago.

Ed002 that you confirming keita wants the anfield move?

{Ed002's Note - I am sure that he was unsettled by the actions of the club and I can confirm now that an illegal approach was made to the player. RBL will be aware of this and as of Saturday made the situation clear. If the player requests a transfer and if Liverpool were to meet the valuation of the player should RBL agree to sell, then it should be possible for this to happen.}

Do you expect Liverpool to make a bid?

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

Hi Eds and Reds

Ed 002.so have we AGAIN spoke to a player without the consent of his club. if we have would RBL being willing to do business with us. and could there be repercussions from UEFA if we have spoke to him illegally

atlfc70.

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea at this time. All done to death.}

If there's been any illegal approaches, especially post VVD, then someone deserves to get fired.

I also really wished the whole grey area of being able to talk to agent but not player was eliminated - how is discussing terms, salaries and roles with agent but not the player any better than approaching the player directly? Clearly that is potentially just as unsettling. teams should be strictly limited to asking for potential availability of a move and no further discussion should be allowed without clubs consent.

No excusing Liverpools behaviour as that's a separate issue, but really think FIFA should clear this up too as it's clearly a farce and simply empowers the so-called super-agents to make shadowy deals in back rooms, with a complete lack of transparency, making out like bandits as a result.

People need to stop being so naive . Tapping up is rife in the game I'm not saying I support it but I'm also of the opinion if you can't beat them join them . Reds for 1 second you don't think the likes of PSG and Barcelona haven't spoke to coutinhos agent without Liverpool consent to see if he's interested or what kind of financial package would suit him to move . Let's just see what happens and not worry about things we are 1 of many clubs doing this and have been for years .

Great player if we can get him but I can't beleive we have done it again in the wrong manner. When will we ever learn.

When are we going to learn to do transfers in the correct manner? We seem to be desperate to get ourselves a transfer ban. Its embarrassing the way we are behaving.

Tell you what why don't you all write to UEFA and report him. Get a petition going or something that should do the trick.

Dhfc: Finally someone with the right mindset. I thought i was the only one who thinks that way.

Also this year or this transfer period has been the first one where "tapping up" became an issue. It happens till god knows when and just came up because of the VVD debacle.

Absolutely sick of these illegal approaches. Thanks for the update ed002 just sick of the clubs actions at the moment. Think it's time for me to turn off from football whilst the window is open to frustrating when there is no need for there actions.

@zimbo, I don't think you can talk wages and stuff with the agent without the player's club's permission. As far as I know you can only get the idea of whether a player would be interested in joining or if he would be available. Anything in detail isn't allowed without club's permission, I think.

This sort of thing must happen ALL the time! maybe Southampton just being petty. I'm seriously unhappy with the way they have handled the whole vvd thing. We want him, he wants us, should've been done already. The amount of money they've had off us and they still treat us this shoddy. I hope we get vvd although it doesn't look good. After that we should never deal with them again.

{Ed002's Note - No, it only happens "all of the" time at the absolute bottom of the pile - this is the single most embarrassing post I have seen over this matter.}

16.) 03 Jul 2017
03 Jul 2017 13:39:49
I can't believe you have to put up with all these vegetables Ed002. There is no defending the clubs actions if we are continuing to make illegal approaches. We need to learn to do things right and fast before we get the transfer ban that is hanging over our heads.

Its disappointing to hear that, thank you for the information Ed002, I sincerely hope the club really cleans itself up in the next few years (and not just regarding illicit or shady transfer dealings) but I guess if they're successful and aren't reprimanded it'll only continue.
